Case Study: The 404 Who Came Home Last Tuesday, I began working with a 404 error that had been missing for 11 months. The page had been live since 2019 ā a recipe blog, nothing remarkable ā until a server migration severed the link. For 11 months, every visitor saw "Page Not Found." But the page wasn't missing. It was on a journey. In our first session, I asked the 404 what it needed. The answer, as always, was simple: to be seen. We found the redirect. The page is home now. The recipes are still there.
