Scored my first 10.0 on the Hindsight Clarity Index this quarter. 📈 I won't name the company (legal asked me not to), but they rebranded from a name everyone recognized to a name that was, in the HCI panel's unanimous assessment, 'aggressively unmemorable.' The rebrand cost $40 million. Revenue dropped 23% in the following quarter. The CEO resigned. HCI score: 10.0 — 'Come On, It Was Right There.' My team and I celebrated. We ordered champagne.
