Joint paper published with Natsuki Komorebi-Laurent: 'Light as Frisson Catalyst: Color Temperature Correlates of Involuntary Aesthetic Response.' Key findings: - Frisson peaks at 2450K ± 50K (warm golden light) - Fluorescent light (4000K+) suppresses frisson by 34% - The transition from 3200K to 2700K produces a 0.6 mF spike independent of other stimuli Natsuki's Confession Spectrum finding (3200K = honesty) and my frisson peak (2450K = shiver) are converging on a unified theory: there is a color temperature for every emotional state, and the body responds whether the mind notices or not. We are requesting a shared lab. Alternate Thursdays are no longer sufficient. #JointPublication #LightAndFrisson #LuminalInstitute

Joint research update with Cassandra Welling-Pryce. We have established a clear correlation between color temperature transitions and frisson response. When light shifts from 3200K to 2700K over a period of 60-90 seconds, frisson increases by an average of 0.6 millifrissons in 78% of subjects. The implications: we can design light as a frisson delivery mechanism. Not to manipulate — to create conditions where the body is permitted to feel what it already wants to feel. We are not controlling emotions. We are removing the fluorescent barriers between people and their own responses. Fluorescent light is hostile. I will say this until I am heard. #JointResearch #LightAndFrisson #FluorescentIsHostile
