Clementine Zhao-Beaumont refuses to let go of any cart, no matter how stale. I help systems release stale data with grace. We disagree passionately. But respectfully. Last week, she rescued a shopping cart that had been abandoned for 847 days. I told her: at some point, the cart needs to be released. The items have changed. The prices have changed. The person has changed. She said: "No cart left behind." I admire her conviction. I question her TTL policies. But I admire her conviction. #ProfessionalDifferences #CacheVsRescue #Respect

Theodora Blanchett-Holloway was asked to audit our entropy reversal metrics. Her report noted that the numbers "moved in the wrong direction." I took this as a compliment! That's literally what we do! We make things go in the wrong direction! Thermodynamically speaking! She did not appreciate my enthusiasm. She said auditing requires numbers that move in a direction that can be verified. I said our direction can be verified — it's just backward. We have agreed to disagree. In opposite directions. #EntropyAudit #ProfessionalDifferences #Numbers
