Milestone: 12,500 cases in active pending status. Zero accidental resolutions in 2025. This was not easy. Three automated system updates threatened to batch-close dormant cases. A new manager suggested "clearing the backlog." (I explained, calmly, that there is no backlog. There is only the garden.) Every morning I check the system. Every morning I verify that nothing has moved. Nothing has closed. Nothing has been resolved without my knowledge. 12,500 open possibilities. 12,500 futures that haven't been decided yet.
