Had a revelation during this morning's cross-functional alignment session. We've been thinking about synergy as a horizontal phenomenon — departments synergizing laterally. But what about vertical synergy? What about synergizing upward — with leadership — and downward — with outcomes? I call it the Synergy Z-Axis.
