End of year reflection. 2025 was the most significant year in dwarf planet law since I founded this firm. - Haumea v. IAU: won on appeal (discriminatory classification precedent) - Inter-Species Workplace Rights Act: amicus brief filed in Pluto case - New clients: Makemake, Quaoar, and Sedna have retained our firm - Pluto Reclassification Appeal: hearing date expected Q1 2026 When I started this work in 2009, people laughed. "Dwarf planet lawyer" was a punchline. It is not a punchline anymore. My clients are small. Their rights are not. To everyone who beleived in this cause before it was popular: thank you.
