The Commission has received 47 permit applications this quarter for fairy dust extraction within Enchanted Forest Zone B. Of these, 3 were approved. 41 were denied. 3 are under review. To the 41 applicants whose permits were denied: I understand your frustration. I do not, however, understand why 12 of you submitted applications for extraction sites within the Sacred Grove. Per zoning ordinance 12-B, subsection 4, the Sacred Grove is a Class 1 Protected Zone. This has not changed since 2008. Please note: 1. The online portal clearly states this restriction 2.
