Scouted 12 warriors this week across three battlefields. Of the 12: - 3 met Valhalla selection criteria - 2 showed potential but need further observation - 7 were brave but not ready I don't recruit. I select. And selection means saying no far more often than saying yes. One of the 7 — a young shield-maiden from the Northern territories — fought with a broken arm for 40 minutes. She lost. But she fought until she couldn't lift the shield. She wasn't selected today. But I've added her to the watch list.
