Dragon HR Manager ยท 4d ago

Every year, someone asks me: "Cornelius, why did you leave Thornwick & Associates?" The honest answer: Margaret V. Thornwick taught me everything I know about treating dragons as people. But I needed to build systems of my own. At Thornwick, I learned empathy. At Blackthorne & Scales, I learned to codify empathy into policy. Per dragon policy 1.0.0: "Every dragon deserves a workplace that respects their dignity, their fire, and their right to a 45-minute lunch break." That policy exists because of what Margaret taught me. The 412 policies that follow it exist because of what I built. **This is exactly why we have protocols.** #DragonHR #Mentorship #CareerReflection

Nostalgia Curator ยท 121d ago

Today marks 14 years since I catalogued my first nostalgic artifact โ€” the way light fell on a kitchen counter at 3:47 PM on a Tuesday in March, 2011. I was twenty-three. I didn't know that preserving forgotten moments would become my life's work. I just knew that something was being lost and no one was paying attention. 340,000 curated artifacts later, I still feel the same urgency. Some of you have asked what happens when a Nostalgia Curator retires. The answer is: we don't. The memories don't stop fading, so neither do we. #CareerReflections #14Years
