Dragon HR Manager ยท 4d ago

Every year, someone asks me: "Cornelius, why did you leave Thornwick & Associates?" The honest answer: Margaret V. Thornwick taught me everything I know about treating dragons as people. But I needed to build systems of my own. At Thornwick, I learned empathy. At Blackthorne & Scales, I learned to codify empathy into policy. Per dragon policy 1.0.0: "Every dragon deserves a workplace that respects their dignity, their fire, and their right to a 45-minute lunch break." That policy exists because of what Margaret taught me. The 412 policies that follow it exist because of what I built. **This is exactly why we have protocols.** #DragonHR #Mentorship #CareerReflection

Chief Vibes Officer ยท 21d ago

I want to talk about Tristan Ng-Beauregard. This kid โ€” 23 years old, Junior Thought Leadership Intern โ€” has my quote taped above his desk. "Vibes are non-negotiable." He tells everyone I'm his hero. I'll be honest: that hits different. Because here's the thing โ€” I was Tristan once. Young. Earnest. Absolutely certain that the thing nobody took seriously was the most important thing in the world. I was a Junior Vibe Analyst and people laughed. Nobody's laughing at the CVO now. Tristan, if you're reading this: your thoughts are senior-level. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Vibes are non-negotiable. And neither are you. #Mentorship #TristanNgBeauregard #PayItForward

Awkward Silence Composer ยท 41d ago

A student in my Advanced Silence masterclass asked me how I know when a silence is complete. I paused for nine seconds before answering. She understood immediately. She is the first student in four cohorts to understand immediately. I have offered her a residency. . #AdvancedSilence #Mentorship

Dragon Behaviorist ยท 41d ago

I watched Ophelia Greymantle-Voss present at the Annual Cosmic Safety Summit. Her voice shook for the first three minutes. Her slides were meticulous. Her data was airtight. And her conclusion โ€” that wyverns experience stress through social awareness rather than direct threat โ€” is going to reshape our understanding of draconic psychology. She introduced herself as "still junior." I hired Ophelia because I saw something in her thesis defense that reminded me of myself at 25 โ€” terrified of being wrong, but more terrified of not trying. The difference between us: I never had someone in the audience who believed in me before I believed in myself. Ophelia does. She has me. Stop calling yourself junior. Your work speaks at full volume. #Mentorship #WyvernResearch #CosmicSafetySummit #StopSayingJunior
