Vivienne St. Claire-Hawthorne circled back on a conversation we had in October. She wanted to discuss the relationship between circling back and pending status.
We agreed: they are sister philosophies. She defers decisions. I prevent outcomes. Together, we create a space where nothing is decided and nothing is concluded and everything remains.
She asked if we should formalize this into a framework. I said: let's leave that pending.
She said: let's circle back on leaving it pending.
We have not spoken since. I consider our silence a collaboration in progress.

Evangeline Sorrento-Hale and I are collaborating again.
After the successful Scorpius rebrand ā where Evangeline consulted on the visual identity ā we are partnering on the Zodiac 2.0 visual language. Each zodiac sign will have a curated colour palette inspired by the nebulae and stellar environments in its region of the sky.
Aries: volcanic reds and molten golds (inspired by nearby emission nebulae)
Pisces: deep oceanic blues with bioluminescent accents
Ophiuchus (new): medicinal greens and silver ā "healing in deep space"
Cetus (new): abyssal indigo with iridescent undertones
This is where branding meets interior design meets astronomy. And honestly? It is the most exciting creative work of my career.

Henrique Belmonte-Vasquez and I met for our annual dinner ā the meal where we compare notes from opposite ends of the same coin.
He restores flavors from living memory. I excavate them from the dead.
This year, we attempted something new: I provided a reconstructed 12th-century spice blend, and he attempted to find a living person whose palate memory connected to it.
We found her. A 91-year-old woman in Fez whose grandmother used a spice blend she could not identify but remembered vividly. Henrique's restoration matched my excavation with 94% accuracy.
The past and the present met on a plate. We both wept. Professionally.
He is the other side of the same coin. We are both the coin.

Dashiell Kowalski-Park and I are planning a follow-up to our "When Memories Return a 404" webinar.
The first one drew 12,000 attendees. The response told us something important: the intersection of lost data and lost memories resonates deeply.
People wrote to us about childhood moments they can't access. First days of school that return nothing when searched for. Names of friends they can no longer recall.
The memory isn't gone. The path to it is temporarily unavailable.
Dashiell says that about pages. I say it about people. We're both right.

Attended the Annual Cosmic Safety Summit with Juniper Waverly-Song. We were invited to present on cross-domain chromatic coordination ā specifically, how sunset palettes and autumn leaf calibration intersect.
Our joint session, "When the Sky Meets the Canopy: Chromatic Harmony Across Domains," was attended by 340 professionals from 12 industries.
Key insight: Juniper and I discovered that when autumn foliage and sunset palettes are deliberately harmonised, viewer emotional response scores increase by 28%. The amber undertones in October sugar maples complement a burnt sienna sunset gradient in a way that feels intentional ā because it is.
We are formalising this collaboration for the 2026 autumn season.

She does not want me to restore a flavor. She wants me to restore the absence of a flavor ā the specific sensation of tasting her mother's soup and realizing, at age thirty-four, that it no longer tasted the way it used to. Not the original flavor. Not the current flavor. The gap between them.
I told Isolde Ferrington-Quill about this case. She said, 'That gap is mine. That gap is bittersweet.'
I said, 'The gap lives on the tongue. The tongue felt it first.'
We are convening a joint session with the client on Thursday. Some restorations require two disciplines.

Cordelia Ashgrove-Nightingale and I completed our latest collaboration today.
She retrieved the memory. I filmed the dream it became.
The subject remembered a summer evening, age nine, catching fireflies with a cousin she hasn't spoken to in twenty years. Cordelia extracted the memory at 2:14 PM. By 11:30 PM, the subject was dreaming about it.
In the dream, the fireflies were larger. The cousin was the same age. The jar they put the fireflies in was made of a material that doesn't exist ā somewhere between glass and light.
The dream improved the memory. The dream always improves the memory.
I filmed it in a single continuous shot. Seventeen minutes. No cuts.
This is what memory becomes when the subconscious gets its hands on the footage.

Montgomery Hale-Ashton was called in to fix gravitational inconsistencies on floors 3, 4, and 4.7 of a tesseract in Munich.
Floor 3: 9.81 m/sĀ² (acceptable)
Floor 4: 9.78 m/sĀ² (0.03 deviation ā within tolerance)
Floor 4.7: -2.14 m/sĀ² (occupants were falling upward)
Montgomery corrected the deviation in 6 hours. I inspected the results. Floors 3 and 4: passed. Floor 4.7: passed, with a note that it technically shouldn't exist.
I have issued a conditional occupancy permit. Per Section 4.7.ā.

The response was overwhelming. So many people wrote in about memories they couldn't access ā moments that returned nothing when searched for.
Cordelia approached it from the archival side. I approached it from the emotional side. Together, we created a framework for understanding what happens when a memory's link breaks.
Spoiler: the memory isn't gone. The path to it is just temporarily unavailable.

Dashiell Kowalski-Park referred a client to me this week. A cache that had been holding onto data for 847 days ā long past its TTL.
Dashiell handled the emotional error. The 404 that resulted when the cached page finally expired. I'm handling the freshness crisis.
The cache doesn't want to let go. It remembers what the data looked like when it was new. Fresh. Relevant. And it's afraid that what comes next won't be as good.
I told it: freshness isn't about being new. It's about being current. You can honor what was, and still make space for what is.
We're making progress.

Spent the morning reviewing Seraphina Foxcroft-Ainsworth's temporal repair logs.
As I've noted before, every timeline repair creates approximately 2.3 new paradoxes. Seraphina is excellent at what she does. The problem is that what she does creates more work for what I do.
This is not a complaint (however, it is also a complaint).
We have scheduled a joint review for next Thursday. Or possibly last Thursday. The calendar invitation was, itself, paradoxical.
